I picked up Season 1 of Samurai Jack and now I'm eagerly awaiting the next installment. I was wondering how many seasons there are and if the show ever came to a conclusion.
I don't know, the more I think about it, the October release isn't a bad thing really. I'd rather wait for a polished, excellent release than have one that was rushed to meet a July street date. Now there's no excuse for it being a bad disc. Kind of wish Uni would have released the theatrical...
That's because Universal is a studio built around tie-ins. Uni is releasing 'Jesus Christ Superstar' on-surprise surprise- the same day Mel Gibson's 'Passion' streets. And then there's the whole matter of them waiting 6 months to release 'The Rundown' just to tie in with the theatrical release...
This is getting ridiculous. If Universal didn't want to announce the film they shouldn't have released the cover art one month ago. They sent the fans into a frenzy of speculation and made the wait even more difficult. All I want is an official street date, even if it is October. 'Ladykillers'...
I'm hearing October now too. 5 more months until I can watch it again...Tom Petty was right, the waiting is the hardest part. I was hoping Patrick could chime in on this...
At this point I'm wondering if Universal has postponed the release date. They have already announced Connie and Carla for an August release and the month of July is already filling up with announced titles like Hellboy. If Universal is still going ahead with a July 27 release they should be...
Since there's no review on the forum for this flick I thought I'd chime in. I saw this film last January at theaters and walked out. But I always give a movie a second chance because maybe I had a bad day or what have you. I never expected to like this movie as much as I did upon a second...
What really makes me mad is when they announce a fullscreen flick that has 5.1 surround. Last time I checked most people with a 5.1 sound system are serious about home theater and are the types who would appreciate the widescreen option.
One word sums up my entire experience while watching this film: UGH. What makes me angry though is the fact that Universal spends 160 odd million on this when there are probably a ton of great scripts out there, waiting to get made, that are more important. A movie like this probably didn't...
I don't know about the rest of you guys but I'm getting pretty anxious about the official announcement (read: impatient). I saw DOTD a total of 6 times in the theater and right now I'm having withdrawal :D. The second run theater nearby just closed last week so my hopes of seeing DOTD again...
