I think I know exactly what is going on. Take the TV out of 16:9 enhanced. The DVD is probably already outputting 16:9 and then by having the TV set to 16:9 enhanced it is getting squeezed twice. When you take the TV out of 16:9 it should auto recognize the 16:9 from the DVD and look normal
I just ordered a pair of these today. What height should they be mounted at? And do the speakers come with drywall anchors? If yes, is there a better type of anchor to increase mounting stability?

I bouhgt the 24" and had it ISF calibrated. Geometry had ben fixed in the services menu and the TV automically plays dvd's in 16x9 squeeze mode. Very happy with the Tv, expecially post calibration... when I originally got it it was definitely too bright - now its near perfect
