Studio Canal released these films on Blu-ray a few years ago in Germany and the UK. I wonder if they are the same transfers?

The Eureka team deserve a round of applause for taking on this release and coming up with the goods. I watched this and "Shane" yesterday on my projector and the images were superb. Big congrats!

Jeff, I seriously doubt that a "modern" production with HD technology would come anywhere close to something like 'Lawrence of Arabia' (well over 40 years old!). HD's current resolution is miles behind it. Just because something is "new" doesn't equally equate as being "better". Today's world...
