I went the complete opposite route. I got a receiver that i will keep for a long time and is most anything i would need and have my speakers be upgradeable but i am seriuously fine with these they sound a lot better than you prolly think they do.

does Denon fib on their numbers too? i just got a 3805 and my speakers are rated to a 100 watts each.

consider SVS or HSU, ( i said it before anyone else in here could nyaaaa :P ) but if its between those 2 i have heard both and go with the Velodyne. Its slightly cleaner sound, the klipsch is more of a Thud

i am wiring up all my speakers but i can't tell which to attach my 2 surround back speakers ( 7.1 ) on the receiver. Du i connect them to the Surr.Back / Multizone speaker connections or do i use Surround B connections?? If I do use the srround back/ multizone connections then wtf are the...

WEll the box for those is freakin big. Its like 4 feet tall by 2 1/2 feet wide and 2 1/2 feet deep. When i got it ihad to move it aroud on a luggage dolly. And i agree with Gene C about the onkyo systems being impossible to beat for under $200...
