What's the last TV DVD/Blu-ray you bought?

I snagged Crime Story season 2 at a used Record/CD/video store for $4. I had season one from Anchor Bay and wanted season 2 to match that set and, well, there it was.

What did you watch this week in classic TV on DVD(or Blu)?

"Here's one of my favorite episodes!" "Here's why it sucks!" I could not disagree more strongly. There is nothing laborious or talky about this episode. I could easily attach those two words to any dozen episodes of the highly regarded first season. This is one of those rare Irwin Allen...

Non USA releases that are not as cut (music replacements etc. ) as their USA counterparts.

Ughhhh man, when I first popped in Operation: Spoilsport, my heart sank when the alternate music came on. That was my favorite episode and the song was - as many were - important to the plot. It also made the episode darker and more serious. I cannot watch that episode as it is. I don't mean to...

If you just want to try more episodes, Nelson, have you tried streaming. Most, if not all. of the Anderson Super Marionation shows are available to watch on a variety of platforms. Thunderbirds worked for me more than anything before that. I need to try Captain Scarlet, it is supposed to be...

    A Quinn Martin Production

It's actually more like those shows that start with some of the leads getting shot or tossed out of a plane, they go to the main titles and then in act one starts with "48 hours earlier....". I didn't mind it in The Fugitive, but for shows of a more recent vintage (like Agents of SHIELD or Human...

For bloopers, I find this to be great. Ryan's Edits. He put the outtakes back into Star Trek Next Generation episodes, and added finishing touches to they are mostly seamless. And hysterical. Posting one or two would be pointless, so here is a link to his You Tube playlist. Others have also...

Classic TV Promos, Commercials and Bloopers - Post ‘Em!

I consider V to be the pinnacle of 80's promos. Their ad campaign and the recaps were practically mini movies. Batman was known as the best promoted series up to that time... Some of these were even used in syndication.

Funny how they were still selling Lost in Space as a mostly serious adventure at this point.
