Meh. With just 3 episodes left really not interested in yet more "Gene" scheming.
Wasn't even all that into the Walt/Jesse stuff. As cool as it was to see them I don't really feel like any of it filled in any gaps and it was just kind of crowbarred in.

Gotta say, as engaging as the episode was on its own, not all that interested in just more Jimmy scheming in the Gene era this late in the game. Hopefully it's setting up something big but I have my doubts.
One thing I didn't understand was when Kim told Gus Jimmy talked Lalo into letting Kim go instead, Gus seemed to have a lightbulb go off and then went with his men to the laundromat. What did that information trigger for Gus? Did it make him realize that Lalo didn't care who he was sending...
Have to admit I forgot this show was even still running and have no recollection of how the last season ended. I'm sure I'll watch it at some point but definitely not pining for it.
So are you saying you think that sequence took place post-Breaking Bad? I was thinking it was pre-Breaking Bad. I don't think Saul would have had all of those possessions during the Breaking Bad era.
I haven't been watching but happened to turn it on right at that point. At first I thought it was definitely a bit (Smith definitely slapped him with an open hand), but that was no audio/video glitch. There is also a history there - Rock poked fun at Jada back when he hosted several years ago...
