IMO, a film is only a must have if you enjoy the movie. Regardless of the quality of the video/audio/extras, if you don't like the movie it won't be worth the money. Besides, there are other great films out there with incredible video, sound, and features.
So, let me get this straight: You're alone, on a desert island. You have a TV, DVD Player, and possible a decent speaker setup. Through some sort of miracle, you have electricity. And you're telling me that there will only be ONE dvd there, and that I get to choose that disc? Anyhow...
Nick has it right, Tom has it slightly confused. There will be only 1 5 disc set.
I'll be buying both the 2-disc Widescreen and the 5 disc set. I'd really like to be able to watch the theatrical version and I doubt I'll be able to wait until November to see the film again.
