Did anyone see the South Park "Good Times With Weapons" HD DVD that was created as a one-off a few years ago? I think it was a Best Buy giveaway. The crew went back and redid the episode in HD, as they're now doing to earlier seasons of the show. It looked fantastic! You wouldn't think it...

Plus, Pixar is reconfiguring Toy Story 1 & 2 in 3-D for these theatrical re-releases. Should be interesting!

A definite buy here... Of all the shows on television, this is the one I most wanted to see released in Blu-ray. It looks fantastic in 720p, and I'm looking forward to seeing the abbreviated season in 1080p. I'm also bummed about the lack of commentaries, though.

I absolutely loved this film... One of my favorite of the year. I found it very funny and unexpectedly moving. Great performances, an Oscar-nominated screenplay, and direction that never wavers in its tricky yet pitch-perfect tone. But "Lars" isn't everybody's cup of tea, so I wouldn't recommend...

Thanks for the post! I ordered this and it's on the way. I've been enjoying the supplement disc from Netflix, but it'll be going back tomorrow. Definitely a set worth owning, especially at this price.

I have and enjoy the ST TOS Season One HD DVD set, but I'm with Ron on this one... These sets are too expensive for me to collect in a format that may soon be on the way out. I may pick up the occasional can't-wait title (I have no regrets about "Bourne Ultimatum," for example), but I'm now glad...

I wish Paramount would give this a day-and-date HD DVD release, because I won't buy TO CATCH A THIEF again until they do.

This is one fantastic release! I finally gave up on Amazon -- with no shipping date in sight, I cancelled my "Robin Hood" order and picked it up at Best Buy. Breathtaking colors and sharpness, all those extras, Looney Tunes in HD... it just doesn't get much better than this!

Count me among those who absolutely loved this film -- both in the theater and on this beautiful DVD. I wouldn't recommend it as a blind purchase -- opinions obviously run both ways on "Sky Captain's" merits -- but it was my favorite film of 2004. I loved its art-deco vision of a futuristic...

Is there a "Shrek 2" trailer on this disc? It's up on the web, but I'd like a nice anamorphic version in my collection!

I there a "Return of the King" trailer lurking in this set? I enjoyed the ROTK featurette on the 2-disc Two Towers, but I was wondering if the new film's theatrical trailer might be buried in an Easter egg, just as the TT trailer was hidden the "Fellowship of the Ring" 4-disc set.
