why bother with the pseudo-HD when you can have real HD? you are already 3/4 of the way there with the TV and the 360.

Is this possible? I bought a cheapie dvd recorder (the Cyberhome one for $99) and I recorded a show on it with all the commercials intact and I want to know if there is a way on my PC (which also has a dvd+RW drive in it) to edit out the commercial (or at the very least hide the commercials?)

Yep, Ron the rep was smokin crack. I and three of my friends all have this exact HD Tivo and NONE of us get charged anymore than 1 receiver charge.

the standalones work with mor than just cable. they work with Satelitte and over the air free tv too.
