Pre-Order The Sting (1973) (4k UHD) Available for Preorder

What a great film - from the plot, to the acting, the score, and the look of the period sets and costumes. Saw it back in the theater when it was first released when I was a little kid. Plot went over my head at the time but its been one of my favorites through the years. Owned it in almost...

    Apple HomePod

I was able to pick up one at Best Buy so that I would now have the mate for the one in my home office. I had ordered an open box item that was supposed to be in excellent condition. There were no new ones available. When I got there they couldn’t locate it after they tried for about 40...

    The COVID Vaccination Thread

I got my 2 Pfizer shots at Aqueduct Race Track in Queens which is about 40 mins from my house. Smooth sailing both times in that there was virtually no wait and it wasn’t very crowded. Second dose was yesterday evening, so far only a bit of soreness in my arm.

A Few Words About A few words about…™ Back to the Future: The Ultimate Trilogy - in 4k UHD Blu-ray

I tried BTTF 2 on my Xbox One S and it still has issues with pixilated breakup in the same area on the disc as the Oppo did. Difference is that the Xbox didn’t freeze and then continue. It was able to play through.

A Few Words About A few words about…™ Back to the Future: The Ultimate Trilogy - in 4k UHD Blu-ray

At first thought I only have one UHD player. Forgetting that I have an Xbox One S which has UHD capability. Going to give that a shot and see what happens. Thanks.

A Few Words About A few words about…™ Back to the Future: The Ultimate Trilogy - in 4k UHD Blu-ray

Last weekend I received the Back to the Future Trilogy on Ultra HD. The first movie played fine. However BTTF Part 2, began stuttering in chapter 9, eventually froze, and then limped along with stuttering and pixilation for a while and then recovered. I examined the disc and didn't see any...

    A Few Words About A few words about…™ Jaws - in 4k UHD Blu-ray

I am wondering if the book is actually different then the one that came with the original BD release? I compared the pages from the book shown in the UltraHd listing and they matched what is in BD release I already have. Hoping someone posts if they do have both whether this is correct or not...

"From the Earth to the Moon" on Blu-ray July 16th

If anyone ever gets the chance, go visit the Cradle of Aviation museum in Uniondale Long Island. You will get to see up close what I believe is the only remaining complete Lunar Lander left. In fact I believe it was borrowed for this series. They also have a second one that was not completed...

Donner Superman 2 SE (merged thread)

Continuity error in Donner Cut One thing that bothered me some was the continuity "error" in the Donner version. After Superman spins the world and turns back time, I think that the bully in the diner (and all the people in it) would have forgotten the altercation with Clark Kent because...

Twilight Zone - The COMPLETE Definitive Collection (28-Disc Set)?

Is there any chance that this could show up on HD-DVD anytime soon? Would it benefit from the HD format?
