One of the main reasons that I keep my Laserdisc player still hooked up is the HOLLYWOOD box set that I bought about 10 years ago. I found it in a cut out bin and only had to pay $10.00. I consider it one of my best Home Theater buys. This is definitely a set that truly deserves to be released...
Since the insert for the poster offer was not in my boxed set, does anyone have any idea as to how I should contact Warners (e-mail address, mailing address, and/or individuals names) about getting a copy of the inset?
My SUPERMAN boxed set has a sticker on the outside advertising five free posters for $5.80 s&h , but I cannot find a coupon or form in the box for ordering these posters. Was this included in the sets that others received? How do I go about ordering the posters without the form?
I was looking at the offer in the Forbidden Planet DVD set for the seven foot model Robby The Robot. Has anybody seen the price for it? How many do you think will sell?
My main reason for keeping my LD player is my SONG OF THE SOUTH laserdic from Japan. Also I have the first three James Bond films from Criterion that have the banned commentaries (the film producers didn't like the commentaries) that won't make it to DVD. Also I have a number of speciality...
If you haven't seen the AMERICAN MASTERS episode:"Preston Sturges: The Rise and Fall of an Ameican Dreamer" it will be repeated on most PBS stations on Sep. 13.

I have just received this set. I haven't seen any comments about the packaging for these discs. I find it to be a bit cumbersome. The box (folder?) will not fold up intuitively and seems prone to easy damage. I don't like having the book bound in to the box and it appears that if I cut the book...
Now that ABC is getting good numbers with DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES in the Sunday 9pm timeslot, will they pull it in January to make way for ALIAS or will ALIAS be moving to a new day?
Since tonight's show (7/23) is the last show of the season, does anyone know the date when the regular shows resume in the fall? Do you think that with an extended break that Ken's timing with the buzzer will be as good as it is now?
Check out Tuner Classic Movies. Almost every Sunday at midnight they air a silent film. Last Sunday it was the 1926 German animated film " The Adventures Of Prince Achmed".
