A lot of Kino titles are having in-stock issues with Amazon, especially now with this recent 50% off sale.

It's inherent to the original film elements used by George Stevens and how he filmed the movie. It's the best we'll ever see with this particular movie. If you watched the Blu-ray or seen the movie on DVD or TV, the 4K disc improvements would be much more recognizable to you.

Hey, it was 1:00 in the morning when I made that post so I listed titles that first came to my mind before going to bed.

It's not a top tier Flynn title to me, but on the same level as Captains of the Clouds.

I’m fine with either title.

One day I need to sit down and watch both Blu-rays on the same day. That way I can tell if those trims bother me or not.

For those interested, iTunes has the 4K digital of "Giant" on sale for $4.99

Here we go again!

I checked my iTunes HD digital again and it has been upgraded from the previous digital. It looks really good!

In the case of Miller's Crossing, you do have options to see the film you saw in a theater.

Just remember any HD title that is redeemed at MA, doesn't get that free iTunes 4K upgrade if it happens to come out later in 4K. The movie has to be redeemed at iTunes.
