I remember coming here back in the day and drooling over all the theater photos day and night. I've always wanted a dedicated theater room in my home to really experience films the right way. A theater like that, coupled with atmos would be incredible.
I remember coming to this forum nearly a decade ago to surf the gallery of user home theaters. I got so caught up in the dream of being immersed in all my favorite films and television shows in such a grandiose way. Big screen, big sound, big impact! I've not been able to participate in the AV...

I remember when i got started in DVD there was always a "killer app" for my player. I remember when Ghostbusters first came out, it made me want to get a DVD player. I spent $350 of my high school graduation money in 1999 to get it. A toshiba player. I also picked up Criterion Armaggeddon (a...
Make sure the drive is registered in bios. you also need to make sure your master boot record is intact. Sometimes placing your windows disc inside the computer, booting from it and promting for a repair can fix this problem.
I think having too many smart devices is more than likely the problem. By the time one gets a smart tv they more than likely already have a handful of devices that can access apps: AppleTV, Xbox, PS3, Wii, Tivo, etc. I think most people have already gotten comfortable with their preferred device...

Hey everyone, I've had a Panasonic PT-AE500U projector for a little over a year and I love it, it's amazing. Now I'm getting pink/ purple splotches on the screen when I watch a film. I've looked at the screen first to eliminate the obvious, but it wasn't until i took off the source and let...
I've owned the PT-500U since Jan. and the screen door effect is a non-issue. With panasonic's Smooth Screen Technology, you can't see it unless you are real close. I have a 96" screen and i sit only 10 feet back. I don't see it. The image is clean and artifact free. Progressive looks great, HDTV...
