Almost 40 noir/noirish Universal and (presumably) Paramount films! Incredible! This is bound to fill in a huge part of the film noir gap. Hopefully, many of them are new to home media!
"We plan to release 10 more Film Noir sets and some standalone Noir releases."
Wow! I love it! More Universal and (presumably) Paramount noir coming our way! Fingers crossed for titles like "Manhandled", "Chicago Deadline", "The Night Runner" and "The Tattered Dress".
Dear K-L Insider,
A few years ago, Kino announced plans to release a UCLA-restored The Man on the Eiffel Tower, but nothing came of it. Any chance it'll see the light of day?
Hi Kino Lorber Insider! Do you have a release date for the previously-announced "The Night Has a Thousand Eyes"? I had been hoping it would be released in July along with those other eagerly anticipated noirs.
I have a legitimate DVD of Christmas Holiday, from the UK, which I bought on amazon.co.uk. Of course, you need a Region 2 player to watch it.
I would love to see Kino issue more Universal noir and noir-ish films from the forties and fifties:
The Night Has a Thousand Eyes
The Web
The Tattered...
What about the Warner Archives titles now exclusively at Amazon: "The Strawberry Blonde", "The Unsuspected:, "Crime School", etc.? Will they be available from www.wbshop.com?
