Guess I'm out of luck, then. My TV is a 720p Panasonic (it has been a reliable set, and still delivers a good picture). It does have HDMI input with option of 720 or 1030p, but that probably won't work. But thanks for your help.

Will a 4K player work with an older TV?

I have been waiting decades for a video release of this film, and when it finally shows up it's on a 4K disc (with IT HAPPENED ONE NIGHT/Columbia Classics 3) I can't afford to buy a new 4K TV and player just to watch this film. Now there's a n HD scan, so *please* give us a Blu-ray, even if...

Why am I not finding GLORIFYING THE AMERICAN GIRL on Kino's website? It's still on the schedule at the beginning of this thread for 12/3, and Amazon is showing the same date, so why isn't it up for pre-order at Kino's site? Did I miss an announcement of a delay?

I wasn't debating that. The *new date* had not been included in this thread until after I mentioned it.

I beg to differ. I looked in both the announcement and "Sweet Charity thread" forums before I posted. The only recent updates were about Amazon pricing. But now it *is* in this forum in the on-going posts, where I would argue it should have been *when it was changed*.

Although I didn't find an announcement of SWEET CHARITY being postponed to August 20 in this list, it *has* changed in the "Coming" section on the first page, as well as at Amazon. No comments about it here, either, but those looking forward to this release should be aware.
