    Thoughts on Infinity Primus?

RyanJE It's mainly HT But I also listen to music SACD/DVD-A/DTS too. Fairly nuetral sounding. I have mine running off of a HK AVR 225. Most HK's are on the warm side I've been told. I think they are clean and clear. My receiver crossover is fixed at 100 Hz So I played around for awhile with the...

    Thoughts on Infinity Primus?

I have the 522's L/R and the VACC in the center with the 522SS Dipoles/Bipoles in back and the S-12 Sub. All in a cherry finish. Hooked with Cobalt cables (L/R) and Monster wire (freebie) to an HK AVR 225. Any other questions I'll be happy to answer.

    Thoughts on Infinity Primus?

Lee, I understand your hesitancy on buying "Internet" brand speakers. As Ryan suggested, Aperion allows you to try their speakers out in your own home with no sales tax or shipping charges. Over the last 2 years I've bought many things from them and I've not returned anything. I really like...

    i need help with wiring

Joe, If you think $90 is a lot, just keep looking. (Audioquest,Kimber,Crystalcable,Siltech...)I personally never thought I'd pay that much. But I went ahead and bought some of those Cobalt cables and well, I was immediately impressed. At the time, I could afford a small little luxury item like...

Bruce, I think you've received some very good advise here. May I recommend that you visit www.Aperionaudio.com and look over their line. They have some floorstanders with built in powered subs as well as a some surrounds, a couple center speakers and some dipole/bipoles too. They've also...

Best 2Chann Bookshelves for music at around 500

Aperions most likely will never be described as WARM I wouldn't say they are BRIGHT! either. I've heard them described as "FORWARD" And I think that probably fits best. Detailed and clear.

    Best sub $500 or less.

I'm pretty sure the original poster asked for no explanations and just a list of subs. Am I wrong here?

How do I know a receiver can power a pair of speakers?

Jose, What's your definition of "airy"? I think some people might say they're bright. I would consider them detailed. Most people consider the H/K to be warm, so it seems to match well with the 522's

How do I know a receiver can power a pair of speakers?

I'd call them clean without sounding to bright. Imaging is solid and detailed. I've only had them less than 2 weeks but there's no way these babys are going back. I mostly have used them for movies so far and their detail is amazing. Although, I've recently hooked up my turntable again after...

    Wher to buy???

Aperion does indeed allow you to return for free if you don't like their speaker after 30 days. Also there is no shipping or sales tax. A 10 year transferrable warrenty and 3 year warrenty on their amps. Very good customer service and simply "Good People" over there. www.aperionaudio.com
