Yeah, some Technirama movies were projected on Cinerama screens... That's why it get confusing....
But I suppose those were not 70mm blow-up prints (marketing name: Super Technirama 70)
That's weird, I remember reading about Technirama movies shown on giant deeply curved screens
I still don't get how and why the Leopard was restored with AR 2.55:1 by Fox Pathe and Film Foundation then...
Anyway I guess Spartacus will retain the 70mm prints AR of 2.20:1 for this new...

I have a question about Spartacus and Technirama in general: some Technirama movies like Sleeping Beauty and The Leopard have been restored with a full negative aspect ratio of 2.55:1. Why is that and could Spartacus get a wider aspect ratio from this 4K OCN Restoration?
