Andrew, Check out e-bay or the flea market at polkaudio.com for some polkaudio rti 70 or rt800i they are some great floor speakers that could be had in your price range, both speakers are much better than the new polk monotors that just came out. mike

Steve, I own a bunch of polk speakers with a velodyne ch 10 sub and I am very pleased.Polk subs suck to put it bluntly go with the veloydyne.But from what I've researched the svs is is the way to go ,I'd try to talk him into it, I've never heard any complaints with the svs. Mike

Kevinb, My next upgrade will be my processor and was considering the 950,from H/K310,I'm also running the outlaw 755 5x200 for amp,I am hoping for better s.q. from the 950.My speakers are polk audio and hoping they mate well.Did the 950 sound much better than the denon?

I think more and more businesses are forgetting who the customer is. .They kiss your ass to get your money and once they have it your old news,they claim how superior there product is, and when it fails, good f*cking luck.
