Related to this... do you guys calibrate the 2803/3803 to 75 dB or 85 db when the volume is at 00? I did mine to 85, but it would appear from other posters that maybe I should redo it. (Actually, I did a 75dB calibration when the volume was at -10), assuming 85 was reference level at 00.

For you guys who got yours already: Did you get a warranty registration card? I didn't see one in my paperwork. Maybe Denon just doesn't use them. (The warranty itself says all you need is a copy of your receipt to get it serviced.) Just curious, though.

Did you have all those components switching at the receiver? Or did you need a separate switchbox? I couldn't see how it'd be possible with more than 4. (Only 4 SVideo ins, for example).

My main reason with going with a Denon was the number of A/V inputs. The Pioneers only have 4 A/V inputs. With 3 game systems, a VCR, a Tivo, and a DVD player.. this wasn't anywhere near enough. (The low number of optical inputs doesn't help the case, either). In any case, the 3803 is a...

My 3803 just showed up. Woo! :D Mine was double boxed with a million styrofoam peanuts. The receipt (which is in the "packing slip" pouch on the box) says 3803 right on it. Now, the eternal wait until 5pm when I can go home and hook this up... It's going to be a looooooong day.

Just got a notice that mine shipped.. Says 44.6 lbs. They all seem to be in the same range. While the unit itself is 36.5, 10 pounds isnt that much considering it has its own box, plus packing material, plus an outer box. Supposed to be here by the 18th.. Woo! :)

Despite my original email from them saying it'd ship in 24 hours, they now told me "it'll ship by next Wednesday." Kind of disappointing, but still glad to be getting it for a good price. As long as it's here before Thanksgiving, I'll be happy. :D - Mike

It's possible that they're behind updating the order status, and GarAlb just happens to be one of the ones they've gotten to. Maybe due to so many orders? :)

Hmm.. No shipping info on mine yet. Although I suspect mine got delayed by a day because I used an alternate shipping address and had to go through the extra steps for that. Waiting is hard. :D

Actually, most of those 3803's are from Dakmart, an authorized B-Stock Denon dealer.
