Running. Ran 7 marathons, including Boston in 1993, where I finished, but did not do very well, 3 and a half months after having hernia surgery. And I like to read books and essays that seek to account for the reasons behind a fact often pointed out by Carl Sagan, namely, that instead of thinking logically or critically, so many folks simply accept the most fantastic claims, that have absolutely no supporting evidence to back them up.
