Connecting Xbox 360 to laptop wirelessly

I don't understand the need to have a broadband connection to configure the router. You should be able to log into the router via your browser at 192.168.1.1 (or whatever the default is set to) and login as admin. You should be able the configure the router then.

    Do you wear glasses?

Funny reading all the posters that needed to back up to see the switch. I actually had to move closer to the screen to see the switch. At normal viewing distance, the faces were just blobs.

    Blackjack Question

I was just in Vegas a couple of weekends ago, and a lot of the casinos on the strip that used to stand on soft 17, now hit on soft 17. This puts the favor even more to the house.

    Digital AC Thermostat

Sounds like I need to get myself some new Digital Thermostats. All this talk about adjusting the swing temp and setting for warmer temps during the day makes me want to play with one :) I have 2 units for my 2 story house, with the basic thermometer hooked up to each. 77 all the time, and the...

Anyone here ever eat 'Dippin' Dots' ice cream?

We let our daughter try some dippin dots at the movie theater a few years ago. She ended up having an allergic reaction to them and broke out in hives! We didn't pinpoint the cause of the reaction, but we are thinking it is the coloring. She had a similar reaction to the lunchables that had the...

    Cvs/rcs

We use CVS at my work where we do development on both Linux and Windows. Some use the graphical interface available on Windows. To make the usage of CVS more robust, our tools team have created a robust wrapper around CVS that allows for better control of the versioning, branching and...

    Quicken vs MS Money?

A number of years ago, I used Quicken to balance my checkbook. For some unforseen reason (probably just the evildoing of Microsoft) I made the switch to Money. I don't do anything heavy duty with my finances (checkbook, savings, credit cards, mortgage and other loans) so both Quicken and Money...

    A question about keys.

A locksmith should be able to take care of you. About 10 years ago my girlfriend at the time lost her keys to her car and we were out in the middle of nowhere. We were able to find a payphone and call a locksmith. He found the proper key design to start with and popped the locking mechanism...
