Thank you! I'm heading to BB (can't wait for shipping and I have a coupon) to buy the 1014 and speakers... I have been using the same JVC Pro Logic receiver for almost 7 years now which looks a little funny next to my 9 foot screen! I will postmy results after it's setup and tested.

I don't believe it can actually improve the video but it will merely convert the signal which to me is important to eliminate clusters of wiring to my projector... I run a 25 foot VGA 15 pin cable to my projector and use a VGA to Component adapter. I'm sure someone will correct me if 'm wrong...

So the RS232 port on the 52TX is not all that important then? I'm really struggling with the cost difference... the 1014 is much less but I don't know if I will use the RS232 connection... is there software to use it? does anyone actaully use it? I have a home theater PC setting...
