I tried the free trial thing because it was a free trial (or get five free, or whatever you want to call it). It took me awhile to find five things it would actually recognize.
I'm not going to say it was hard to use, but I will say it was... long... to use, I guess.
Agreed. I've got a Samsung Smart TV and all of those features are essentially worthless. Everything it can do my PS3 can do remarkably better and faster.
For the BEST OF BOTH WORLDS code, I literally had to sign up for a new Paramount UV account and that's the only place you could redeem/view. It wouldn't work anywhere else. I think it's on Vudu now, but you couldn't even do it through Flixter on release day.
I have FiOS and my YouTube is fine. The caveat, however, is that the PS3 YouTube app is completely worthless and buffers about once every three seconds (literally). On computers it's fine, though. Odd.
The Digital Bits just linked to an interesting study this morning about how PlayStation 3 owners prefer physical media over streaming services:

It is the HBO Select code, but it is no longer available at iTunes. As I said in the original post, it is for an Ultraviolet digital copy.
EDIT: I apologize, the code is now spoken for. Thanks!
The admin of Demonoid went after them after - surprise surprise - they ran stories about everything that was going on with Demonoid in the last two years and how that dude ran the site into the ground. Twice. So yeah, I'm not sure why you would think he would have anything positive to say about...
I'm late to this party, but MAN do you not understand what TorrentFreak is. It's a news site that runs Bittorrent-related stories. Nothing more, nothing less. It isn't pushing a "pro-piracy agenda." Unless talking about things that exist is being "pro" something.
And "copyright trolls" are...
I keep getting "Unable to Delete..." messages.
So close, and yet so far ;)
EDIT: It appears that you can only delete freebies that you got through Flixter, which makes sense. But now I have to keep track of what freebies came from where so I know how to delete them, which is mildly irritating...
What do you think the Home Theater Forum is, exactly?
I personally enjoy Sam's contributions to the thread. He has linked to some very interesting pieces that I would not have otherwise found/read.
So if anything, your opinion and my opinion cancel each other out.
