    Help me troubleshoot...

Are you saying it stopped working completely? If so, test the sub with an ohm meter to see what the coil(s) read. If that's fine, then try the other channel on the amp.

Need help with my new QSC amp, very frustrated!!!

I agree, it probably doesn't need one for home use. I didn't stress mine without a fan, but did have it disconnected for a little while and it was barely warm. But, since my amps are right next to my computer/HTPC...which has fans and hard drives...and my projector has a fan...well, it didn't...

Need help with my new QSC amp, very frustrated!!!

Is the QSC using a 24v 80mm fan? If so, Digikey part number P9739-ND NMB/Panaflo 24v fan. This is pretty much the best fan you can find assuming it's 24v 80mm (there's a 12v version as well). I replaced the one in my Behringer EP2500 with this and have been using it for a couple weeks now...

Need help with my new QSC amp, very frustrated!!!

Then you were already sending too much power to the shiva. Clipping isn't a magical speaker killer...it's too much power. You could send a clipped signal all day long to the speaker as long as the signal is within the speaker's power handling ability.

    little help with bracing

Looks like the two end "chambers" are quite a bit bigger than the middle two. Personally I wouldn't restrict them that much...leaving at least the SD of a driver available.

    How long is the port?

How to conect a car amplifier in my home?

Not really, but some people have hooked up the behringer feedback destroyers in-car. No, you can't parallel two computer psus. Sell the amp and buy a home amp.

    amp power vs. sub handling

You should be just fine. Going from 500 to 800w will only gain you ~2db. I run a 1600w adire tumult off of a 250w plate amp and I'm happy with it (coming from a guy with 2400wrms available to a 1600w adire brahma in car).

How to conect a car amplifier in my home?

I told you how to do it, but it's still stupid. Some ATX psu's it seems will turn off if they don't sense a load on the normal leads.

How to conect a car amplifier in my home?

Using a PC atx psu, hook the amp (+) up to a drive molex plug using the yellow lead, hook the rem power on lead of the amp to the yellow lead as well, hook the amp (-) up to a drive molex plug using one of the black leads. Short out the green wire on the motherboard molex to any black lead to...

Desperately want to borrow Infocus M1-DVI cable

I would like to borrow an authentic Infocus M1-DVI cable (not M1-VGA). I just need to test my projector (SP5000) to determine if the port is working properly since Infocus says it does yet it still doesn't work with my old cable or the new one I bought (non-Infocus brand) whereas it did in the...

    Veneer question

I would be concerned mainly with sandability, or lack there of, for something so thin. That, and possible voids in such thin veneer. Otherwise it should wrap more easily.

Can someone explain to me what a Rumble Filter / Bass Boost does to a woofer?

Which behringer? A europower? They have filters but they're defeatable via dip switch.

    Router bit question

I've never used anything but straight cut bits and have been fine. Yes, you should be able to make just about as small of a hole using a jig as you'd like. The only problem I ever have, and it's more just a minor inconvenience, is when the radius of my hole is the same as the radius of my router...
