FWIW, Deepdiscount has Devotion 4K for $24.99 plus shipping, could be worth it if you have other titles in mind from them. Thanks Mike for putting this together!

Lost The Farm Whole House Sale

Scooter - sorry to hear about the recent turn of events, you've given a lot to the HTF and especially those local to that area over the years. One question, are you selling local only, or are you willing to ship?

What's a fair price for used exercise equipment?

I would use craigslist for pricematching as well as ebay, since its a heavier item. How badly do you want it? If offering $200 at the outset is lowball, wait until a few weeks before shes moving and see if its still available. At that point, you'll be doing her a favor by taking it and you'll...

Hi Peter - where are you located? If its nearby, would you be willing to negotiate on the price since you wouldn't have to ship?

is there a dangerous magnetic field around a cellphone antennae?

If I remember right, someone on the forum specializes in legal issues/contracts relating to Cell Phone towers. You might do a search in After Hours for past posts.

    Busted! Do I plead guilty?

if the state allows pleading no-lo (no lo contendre) I would recommend that, although it may mean you have to appear in person. Otherwise for an out-of-state ticket I would just pay the fine and save yourself the hassle, especially for speeding.

NFL 2008 Regular Season Discussion Thread

Great game, although lots of questionable officiating against both sides. Let em play refs! I agree with you Scott, although I do hope that Ben builds off of this season and begins to be more of a focus of their offense. So many games this season, it seemed like he was what was holding them...

Are the US [and Canada] the only countries that understand free refills?

here in Mexico, the only resturants that offer free refills on soda are: Costco Cafe Carls Jr (Hardees to us southerners) Burger King Tony Romas (I guess the one in Chile isn't under the same mgmt) Chilis (although there is a 3 refill max, and 2 refill max on the "bottomless" chips and...

Quick Help: selling on Craigs List?

I recently bought a used car from craigslist, and did just that . a guy dropped his price by $1000(from $9000 firm to $8000 obo), making the deal a hot one instead of just a warm one, and I told him if it passed the mobile inspection service and there were no surprises, I would buy it at his...

    The IT Crowd Season 3

I think while it is great, I have the same problem with IT Crowd as with Entourage - with all that time in between seasons, all you can produce is 6-8 half-hour episodes? I'd have to say so far Tramps Like Us has been my favorite of the new season. Classic stuff.

    Rise of international TV

IT crowd is a riot - we get a few UK shows in Mexico thru syndication. Is there a way to watch it in the US other than buying the season dvds?

Prepaid cell phones Att GoPhone or Verizon InPulse

Jay - Verizon doesn't generally use SIM cards as they don't use GSM networks, but you could always get Motorola phone tools or a similar suite to pull the numbers off your old phone and move them to your new one - Monoprice sells MPT for $4 I think with the cable. I had a GoPhone for...

    linksys router genius needed

Micah - you might try downloading netstumbler and running it- that will show you access points around yours so that you can use a different channel. With a simple 11 channel router, your channels need to have 5 channels in between to maintain themselves interference free. Thus the most commonly...
