    Mean Girls (2004)

How different is it from buying a CD from Amazon.com or .co.uk like I do all the time and pay the disks in USD or GBP than buying online from them? If they have some licensing issues with Apple selling songs and albums to canadians, why do they allow Amazon to sell them to us? Someone above...

    Mean Girls (2004)

Ok, but I'm not gonna use their program on my machine. I want the soundtrack in a *USABLE* format (That is, a CD) Even if I installed one of those programs that install as a fake soundcard in Windows to convert them to WAVs, I would lose a lot of quality in reencoding them to MP3s for my...

    Mean Girls (2004)

I saw the link, but to me, a CD that is only available on iTunes is like a DVD only available in Pan & Scan, I consider it not available at all! I will not buy a Mac. I will not buy an iPod. I'll check on Kazaa just in case... But I'd prefer to get an actual CD than be stuck with a lossy...

    Mean Girls (2004)

I saw this last week and really loved it. I was afraid of being in another "Lizzie McGuire Audience" but it was ok. And I don't feel guilty of liking it. One thing I really loved about this movie was the music, anyone knows why the soundtrack is nowhere to be found? I just went to all the...

    A Problem With Fear, OAR?

Ok, I just spoke on the phone with the person in charge of DVD Editions at Christal Films and she confirmed that it is OAR. It's not Anamorphic though but the movie is complete which is what really matters. It was nice to see that she appreciated the fact someone knowledgable was calling...

    A Problem With Fear, OAR?

Someone earlier told me to do a google search and I did. I found the site you mentionned, the one that said it's featureless. I also looked up all the DVD Retailers listed on Yahoo Canada and most of them had no AR Info, one said it's fullscreen and another said it's Widescreen 2.35...

    A Problem With Fear, OAR?

The full title is "A Problem With Fear or Laurie's Anxiety Confronting The Escalator", it's not that I have "A problem with" a movie called "Fear" hehe! According to what's written on the DVD, it was directed by Gary Burns, and it stars Paulo Costanzo and Emily Hampshire. The movie was made...

    A Problem With Fear, OAR?

No, over here it had a very brief theatrical run and it was 2.35:1. The cover is read with the guy's head upside down. Another source said it was OAR, but they said that a month before release so it may not be reliable:

    A Problem With Fear, OAR?

I don't know if anyone here has seen or heard of this little known indie Canadian film. It was released on DVD a month ago, I couldn't find it anywhere so I placed a special order at HMV and went to pick it up today. I looked at the specs on the back and there is absolutly no mention of...

People from North America, do you like any non-english songs?

Although french is my first language, I've never been too fond of french language music, probably because it's constatly being shoved down our throats (Or should that be ears?) around here.

    *** Official UNDERWORLD Discussion Thread

Where I saw it, the rears were not working! But it's good enough to see it again, especially to hear it in proper 5.1... And the DVD, unless it's P&S-Only, I will buy!

Do you re-arrange Widescreen/Fullscreen DVD's on the shelf?

Yeah, I do that too. But not at the place I usually buy my DVDs because they only carry OAR! But whenever I'm in another place, I put the wrong versions behind the correct ones.

Yeah, I bought it and wow, great picture and sound! Maybe the bitrate is higher on the WS version... And the sound! I was at 10 under ref. with the sub at 4 under the recommended level to keep the neighbors at bay snd the thunderstorm sounded real.

Anyone heard the Shania Twain Up! SACD ???

I found this as I was browsing the "Audiophile" rack at HMV looking for SACDs to test my new Pioneer 563... I listened to the 2c version mostly but the 5.1 version sounds cool for the parts I've listened to. One thing I don't get, is how can they fit 73 minutes of 2c and 5.1c on one layer...
