Finally I got a working DVD-1600, PQ is excellent and very clear, almost like hd picture. Trying to take a plunge on dvd-a materials so plug in 6 rca to my Denon AVR-3802. Sounds just blasted w/o volume control. Is it like this? or somethings wrong again? HELP!

Planning to upgrade our dvd player (sony) to compliments the HW40 set. My friend said that it'll be a day and night difference with progressive player dvd, is this true? Can I really see/identified the difference on the player? Thanks, Marlon

Need your expert advise here. Local stores was offering $900 for Denon3801 (new) and other store has an Onkyo787 (open box) which will be around $800 or less. I been trying to work their prices down since both are closely price to get a better deal. We been comparing this too unit for awhile...
