There is no extant 35mm material on this film so far as can be established. There have been rumors of a 35mm print for decades, but those have never amounted to more than rumors. If there's a 35mm print, it's very well hidden.

That is correct. There are 3 discs in the BFI set, each of which has an optional triptych panel on it, so with 3 blu-ray players and 3 TVs you can recreate the full experience. I could potentially do it, but it would mean lugging several pieces of equipment around and I've never felt compelled...

As was the case for most people, my box arrived with one seam completely ripped out. I'm not sure it's worthwhile trying to get it replaced. EDIT: Well, Amazon made my decision to return easier. They're currently selling the box for $217, so I sent back the busted one and ordered the new one...
