Glenn Erickson's take on Colt .45

This essay by physicist and SF writer Gregory Benford was included in the Supplements section of Criterion's CAV LaserDisc Box Set of 2001: A Space Odyssey. In the first seven pages, Benford writes that a total eclipse is "...one of the natural world's most fascinating coincidences."

The 1929 version probably needs a lot of work to make the jump to HD. Charles Bickford played the John Wayne part--- Bickford would team up again with William Wyler ~30 years later in The Big Country (1958)---

Hell's Heroes (1929) is also based on Kyne's story- TCM shows this and WA released it as a double feature DVD with Three Godfathers (1936).

Are 4K discs more susceptible to scratching than Blu-ray discs? The three disc Aliens and The Abyss stack the 4K on top of the bonus features blu-ray. To be safe I swapped the lone blu-ray feature disc on the left with the 4k on the right side.

I received a DMC shipping notice the same time as others posted here. The package, with all three titles, was in my southern Wisconsin mailbox this morning.

Intro clips are not included on all episodes. For example, Disc 1 holds 6 episodes--- the first four have intros, the last two don't. But Episode 5 ("Small Man") does include a next week's promo for E6 ("Final Payment"). So things are a bit scattershot.
