Who cares about SD-DVDs anymore?

You can please everyone though. If the cover just had the original poster art with no cheesy soft drink sqishes and banners than everything would be cool.

Chapter menus?

Laserdisc aficionados had valid reasons why not to buy into dvd in the begining. The audio sucked, 16x9 discs were sparse, and a lot of dvds had hideous compression problems. Fortunately all of those things were cleared up and were never a problem again. ;)

With an eventual Blu-ray release on the horizon i don't think the difference between the Superbit and the SE is that compelling. Here's a comparison between the HD version and the SB version scaled to 1080p. The 2-disc SE does have some excellent features on it though.

Snappers are a type of case, not an art decision.

Because some discs will look and/or sound better than others and tech-freaks like me love reading about that stuff. :D

The disc should be reviewed on a system that can display full 1080p. The disc should be compared to the dvd but also the version that's been seen on HDTV if possible. Whether or not the extras are in SD or HD should be mentioned and their picture and sound quality should be noted...

I don't think the Bluray version would be that good. Better than the dvd, yeah, but there are far better HD transfers out there.
