I totally agree that TSWLM is one of the better Bonds (best of Roger Moore's) and it's saddening to see how these film are treated.

I was not clear enough...i meant for home viewing. They will never release movies almost at master quality in a physical medium as "Ultra Blu-Ray HD" or whatever this next format will be called.

I simply don't see Studios release a movie in this resolution. :D

I think it's obvious that Faisal wants his room shaking and rattling with overbearing bass and feeling it banging his body. Few of my friends have had this "syndrome" until i calibrate their systems correctly. After the calibration all of them have agreed that calibrated sounds better...

I've owned all versions of this great movie on dvd and in my opinion the Japanese 2 disc Superbit has the best picture quality: Movie / THE GUNS OF NAVARONE (Superbit DTS) This movie has never had good pq on DVD. Let's hope for a Lowry clean up for the oncoming Blu-Ray release. Cheers Maggi
