Thanks Neil, I'm definetly aware of the distance and lighting conditions, and as far as the viewing angle, I plan to center my seat directly in front of the tv, and if we have guests over, well there's always the floor if they don't like the other seating angles. :D

Isn't burn-in mostly a non-issue if you keep the contrast and brightness around 50% for CRT's, or have I heard wrong.
