Mike, I actually had a very similar experience. We started out looking at B&W and Martin Logan speakers and ended up with Magnepans. For subs I use 2 SVS CS-Ultras. They seem to do the trick for me. :) Btw, are you related to Bob by chance?

Tim, We're too busy enjoying the maggies. ;) Actually I do agree with you, maggies seem to have a small following. Noticeable, but still small.

Alan, I have the same all maggie speaker setup except with 2 SVS-Ultras for subs. It does music/HT like I've always wanted. Good luck with the setup, I'm sure it's going to sound awesome. Make sure to update your pics link when you've got it all setup. :)

Has anyone used these products? I saw this on the x10 website: http://www.x10.com/products/x10_vk57a.htm Basically lets you play the mp3s on your computer on your stereo system. I'm wondering how good the sound quality is and if there any better alternatives to the x10 solution...

Actually I found the Klipsch ksw-12 to be boomy and had poor extension. Aftering firing up my svs ultra, I began to wonder how I ever thought the ksw-12 sounded good.
