Hiya, Potentially interested in the NEC CRT. Where in MN? How much wear/burn would you guess using the ol' 10 to 1 scale? Any idea what replacement parts run ($)? Thanks!
Thanks for another idea. I am currently just running antenna as I get several channels (Mpls MN). I had previously thought about the Nextvision for conversion to computer monitor output...but it is ONLY computer monitor output and no S-video/composite video. The projector is old so I am trying...
Hiya UPDATE: The VCR idea didnt work because the CH3/CH4 selector doesnt have anything to select from...therefore I get no video, but sound is good. Yes, that is a good idea for the CRT projector that accepts S-video. I could use the antenna coaxial to the VCR and then connect to my receiver...
Hiya I would like to watch television through both my old Runco CRT (CinemaPro 760) and/or LCD monitor. However, I am tired of having to connect and power-up my computer for the TV-tuner functions. Does anyone have suggestions for a set-top box TV tuner that is not going to cost an...

Hiya I am now in the process of trying to fine-tune (ok, ok...make picture bareable) the CRT lenses. I understand there are some pictures that can be burned onto disc and improve the process of destig and focus the lenses. The on-board grid is OK, but I think it could be much better...
I finally took it to someone for a check up. Apparently the old Runco 760a is picky about video source. The DVD player I was connecting to didnt 'mesh' with the Runco. Setting the Runco up with a different DVD player (Panasonic) worked great on first try. Go figure. Thanks Chris for your help.
Hiya Ok...Im new to this. Be patient with me. I have a Runco CinemaPro 760 CRT front projector (built 1996). The unit was removed from my friends home (worked fine at removal using S-Video converter to Y/C signal) and setup in my home with DVD player using the S-Video out. The DVD S-Video...
