I'm looking to get a roundover bit from MLCS which one should I get? I'm looking at a 1/2" shank size but what radius, large dia., and carbide height?

Could you explain a little more why you would blow your sub? Most of the time you won't be running at a volume level where you would be acheiving 1000+ watts. If you set your gain well and don't play at excessive levels I don't think you would blow the sub?

Sorry if this is off the topic, but what exactly is a passive radiator for? I understand the concept I think, use energy from another speaker's movement to supply its own movement? I have seen these speakers come up the last few days (this thread and the new GR sub thread) not understanding them.
