Kino-Lorber Insider Announcement Thread (Read Guidelines Post #3)

I truly hope Parasite (1982) is with Kino. I've been wanting it for a long time, but had little actual hope due to the StudioCanal connection.

Any chance of Kino releasing The Fifth Floor (1978) in the future?

Kino-Lorber Insider Announcement Thread (Read Guidelines Post #3)

Kino Lorber Insider, would you happen to know who owns the rights to Bert I. Gordon's The Coming (aka Burned at the Stake)? I've been trying to find out for a long time, and I'm not sure if it's Universal, MGM or someone else entirely.

Mister Lime, might you know who owns Bert I. Gordon's "The Coming"? I can't seem to nail down who has the rights. Grabbed "Rawhead Rex". A splendid release and the movie was as fun as I remembered.

Mr. Lime, do you know if MGM possesses the rights to Bert I. Gordon's "The Coming"? Thank you for the sale. I buy my most wanted Kino releases upon release, but this helped considerably with catching up on some I hadn't gotten to yet.

Kino is killing it. So many releases I intend to buy. I don't drop by often, so while I'm here, a few recommendations I'd love to see them consider in the future - Blood and Lace, Pandemonium, Highway to Hell, Impulse (1984), Transformations and The Curse/Curse II: The Bite.

I remember the Zone Troopers art well from my video store days. Never got around to renting it, but will definitely give this release a look. Another obscure sci-fi film I'd love to see hit Blu is Transformations (1988). Does MGM have Ghost Town (1988)?

Thanks! I knew most were with MGM, but there were a few I wasn't 100% on. Also, forgot to add Cop (1988).

I'm a big fan of the work Kino is doing and am especially excited for Miracle Mile. A few titles that I would love to see Kino get for BD release if possible: Heart of Midnight (1988) - Jennifer Jason Leigh's best performance, IMO. Highway to Hell (1991) Blood and Lace (1971) The Day After...

    Damages - season 3 thread

Intense episode tonight. .... .... .... I was hoping like crazy that they wouldn't off Tessa. That absolutely solidified the Tobins as my most hated villains in anything I've watched in quite some time. I'm still fuming. Can't wait for the remaining two episodes and hopefully some major...

    Weekly RoundUp 4-6-2010

Thanks. Grabbing two of my favorites from 2009 this week, The Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call - New Orleans and The Collector, both on Blu. Might also pick up The Relic for cheap. Haven't seen that one in ages.

    Damages - season 3 thread

I'm loving how Patty and Ellen are using Alex as a pawn in their mental tug of war. It would be nice to see her catch on and what her reaction will be, though it may not continue now that they've teamed up. Martin Short is turning out to be a very inspired bit of casting. Interesting new angle...

With the way it's going, this may very well turn out to be my favorite season of the show. It just gets better and better.
