I saw it in IMAX 3D the other day and I liked it. Visually, it was amazing but it wasn't as good or great as I was hoping it would be. The little China Girl was really well done and the winged monkey was a good sidekick. Just thought James Franco kind of hammed it up a bit too much though. Mila...
some news to get fans excited: Nova Corps (or how Marvel will show DC how to make a Green Lantern movie!) http://ca.ign.com/articles/2013/03/06/nova-corps-to-appear-in-guardians-of-the-galaxy
The story thus far... - Mark Miller hired to oversee Fox's Marvel Cinematic universe - first movie starting the "universe" will be The Wolverine, July 2013 - Bryan Singer and Matthew Vaughn switch positions. Singer becomes director, Vaughn becomes producer of X-Men: Days of Future Past - Josh...
I love Seth McFarlane's crude politically incorrect humor. Which is why I did not watch last night's Oscar show. Knowing how out of touch most of the Academy members are, I had a feeling his kind of humor wouldn't go well with a lot of them, i.e. Tommy Lee Jones. Plus he'd probably be held back...
Just came back from watching this turd. It's all true what they say. It's that bad. All the action scenes were dull and just bored me. Not only was the direction awful but camera work was amateurish. This definitely didn't feel like a Die Hard film. John McClane was not John McClane...
With season three about to be released I kind of find it odd they are also releasing what most fans consider the 2 best episodes (or one depending if you count it as one) of the TNG series. Just curious about the specs though. Amazon lists it as 1.85:1 but the season sets have been 1.33:1...
Peter Dinklage latest addition to an already large cast! Puck anyone? Or perhaps Uatu? http://ca.ign.com/articles/2013/02/14/peter-dinklage-joins-x-men-days-of-future-past
Saw this in IMAX 3D today. There were lots of film grain evident throughout. Not sure if I remember seeing that originally back in 1986 or it was just a poor film transfer blown up to IMAX proportions. 3D was non-existent. Sound was amazing though. As for the film itself, still love it. I...
So, it's obvious why The Silver Surfer can't be part of this. Will Marvel go with Beta Ray Bill again? Or maybe one of the Guardians of the Galaxy? Or another cosmic character? Nova?
I think Marvel needs a female superhero to have her own movie in Phase 3. My favorite females are unfortunately part of the DC Universe (WW, Black Canary) or Fox has the rights (Rogue, Phoenix, Invisible Woman) so not sure which female Marvel character should be given a chance. She-Hulk...
