I had an Onkyo PR-SC885 that was water damaged when a pipe burst and I'm now shopping for a replacement pre/pro and 5 channel amp.
My HT is a not-fancy but dedicated room in the basement..the amps were a 5 channel and a 2 channel Rotel, the 5 channel was also damaged...
...an affordable pre/pro with HDMI switching and room correction like AFFORDABLE receivers from Yamaha and Denon... What am I not understanding? I have a Rotel RSP-1066 and I sick of waiting for a replacement that I can afford with the features that I want. I was looking at a Denon 2807...

It has happened again...Fifth Element DVD during Chapter 4, 13m23s, there is a massive white on-screen explosion, not dissimilar to the muzzle flash in X-Men. Again, the Rotel causes a distortion that can be removed only when I bypass the Rotel. This is starting to get ridiculous...I cannot live...
