3D Meet Bob Furmanek: HTF Golden Age 3-D Consultant

I asked Bob about it on another site but didn't receive a reply. I guess the thing is hush-hush for some reason.

3D Meet Bob Furmanek: HTF Golden Age 3-D Consultant

I guess that's why they're called "stars" and not necessarily great actors. I have many favorites who are not great actors but strike a chord for some reason.

3D Meet Bob Furmanek: HTF Golden Age 3-D Consultant

From another thread on this forum. "Management has made it expressly clear to Mr. Furmanek that he and reviews of his product are no longer welcome here, despite the traffic he has generated for this website for more than a decade. " We don't know anymore that that. Everyone is mum on the reason.

3D New 3D title from the 3D Film Archive for a Kickstarter Campaign

Very bizarre. All my dealings with Bob over the years have been great. I would like to hear from "management" about this.

Pre-Order When Worlds Collide (1951) (Blu-ray) Available for Preorder

I know post #19 was not yours, Johnny. I just didn't like Nazi Germany and the South being placed on some kind of equal footing in that post.

Pre-Order When Worlds Collide (1951) (Blu-ray) Available for Preorder

Okay, Here's what I didn't like about post #19. I've lived in three Southern states and have known many fine people from the South. I didn't like the South being lumped in with Nazi Germany. Political comments are supposed to be forbidden here.

Where are Warner's very cool police detective TV series from the 60's

Warner keeps saying the music rights in these detective series is holding up their release. The longer the wait, the less demand there will be. Seems like something could be done, even if it's deleting the musical performances. None of us is getting any younger.

A Few Words About A few words about…™ Million Dollar Mermaid – in Blu-ray

I just pre-ordered it. It will be a blind buy for me, but I like old movies (and Technicolor) and couldn't resist after RAH's review.

3D New 3D title from the 3D Film Archive for a Kickstarter Campaign

I don't believe any 3-D films were shot with the three-strip Technicolor camera.

    Pre-Order Psycho (1960) 60th Anniversary (4k UHD)

I always thought the knife sliced his face....still do, regardless of how you think it appears in the overhead shot. The face wound looks like a slice to me, not a splatter from his chest.

Someone did tell me they saw you on the grassy knoll.

Pre-Order Elvis: That's The Way It Is (Blu-ray)

Yes, the new one is the same as the old release. Blu-ray for 2001 edition, DVD for the theatrical version. It seems they wanted to cut out the nutty fans in the special edition. What can I say? - I'm a nutty fan!!

Pre-Order Elvis: That's The Way It Is (Blu-ray)

I wish the theatrical version (the one I prefer), which is included as a DVD, was a Blu-ray.

Could 'Gigi' be restored for Blu ray?

Too bad the fades and dissolves weren't A/B-rolled when originally edited. They would be seemless. Instead, they have to deal with the terrible dupe stock of the era.
