Blu-ray Review A Few Words About A few words about…™ Last Train from Gun Hill – in Blu-ray

I watched the Blu-ray last night. My system is an LG Blu-ray player feeding an Optoma DLP projector to a 106" 16x9 screen. There was one shot where I saw something when Douglas first visits Quinn's ranch. Quinn leans forward and there was motion blur for an instant. Other than that, I saw no...

Blu-ray Review A Few Words About A few words about…™ Last Train from Gun Hill – in Blu-ray

Gunfight at the OK Corral is my favorite Western but, being a Kirk fan, this one is great as well. I think Dimitri's score is also excellent The soundtrack CD has some great stereo tracks. Dang, I miss 50s & 60s Westerns.

Blu-ray Review A Few Words About A few words about…™ It Happened at the World's Fair – in Blu-ray

As an Elvis fan for 55+ years, I'm looking forward to this Blu-ray. I once had a 35mm print of IHATWF with still good color and will always remember playing it on a 20-foot wide screen. I love the scene where the trailer park guys are backing Elvis during the song "One Broken Heart For Sale"!

Ozzie & Harriet Release From Sam Nelson?

In the past on Kickstarter, Sam as shown some clips (including a nice color one from 35mm) and examples of the restoration process. While information over the years has certainly been less than I would have liked, I think this time, with the involvement of MPI, we might finally get some...

Looks like Hillary Brooke who was in The Maze and various A&C projects.

Ozzie & Harriet Release From Sam Nelson?

All we can do is go by what Sam said: A formal announcement is forthcoming this summer but I’m excited to let you Kickstarter supporters hear the news first. The initial release is planned before the year is out. Hopefully, it will happen.

Ozzie & Harriet Release From Sam Nelson?

Just be happy something is finally happening. Perhaps I will see fruition after my $130 Kickstarter donation years ago.

    3D Blu-ray Review September Storm 3D Blu-ray Review

I watched September Storm tonight. I had not watched it before, even though I purchased it when it first came out, because the projector I use with my CinemaScope screen is not 3-D. I finally went ahead and watched it on my 16x9 screen and was very impressed with the color and the outstanding...

A Few Words About A few words about...™ The Searchers -- in High Defintion

At the least, I would like to see them tackle the yellow dye failure issue of the last release with the latest technology. The sharpness on that Blu-ray is outstanding.

Warner detective and western shows question

I prefer that the bumpers remain. I really like the ones in the middle of the show, "And now, back to 77 Sunset Strip".
