Hi Roland. Yes, the extended version is anamorphic in 720p/24. What they probably did is to downrez the 1080p picture from the theatrical cut to 720p and uprez the digimaster used for the laserdisc to 720p to insert the additional sequences. Koch did an incredibly good job. The transition to...
