What receiver were you using? There are a number of receivers with proprietary EX decoding that had problems with an EX flag included on Jurassic Park III, Pearl Harbor, and Atlantis. Chamber of Secrets uses the same flag (or at least a similar one).

The Pioneer Elite 43TX, 45TX, 47TX, and 49TX will all decode DTS 96/24. As near as I can tell, the Sony 4ES can also decode DTS 96/24.
