    DVD Recorders

I bought the Sony RDR-GX7. It records in DVD-R, DVD-RW and DVD+RW. It will also play DVD+R but not record it. I'm having good luck with it so far. The recorded discs seem to play in other DVD players pretty well, that was an issue for me. They will not play in my first generation Sony DVP-S3000...

Sony DVD Recorder RDR-GX7 anyone have it?

Norm, The 2 and 3 hour modes are very good. The 6 hour is not good at all, I won't use it. I use the machine to record cable tv and to transfer my 8mm camcorder tapes to dvd. The 8mm tapes transfer very well, they look real nice. The only things I don't like about it are, 1.No hard drive...

Sony DVD Recorder RDR-GX7 anyone have it?

Yes, I bought it a week ago. I have not had to much time to play with it yet though. I watched a couple of movies on it and the picture is nice. I also recorded a tv show that worked very well. The only thing I don't like is that it does NOT support dvd+r format. Some say that will be the...

    Help With Mits 55411

Thanks for the reply Gregg. I was hoping that someone would have an easy fix or know something that I could try. I really don't like to call out service techs because I've heard how things can be made worse. If it gets bad I'll have to call, but I'd rather see if I can do something myself. let...

    Help With Mits 55411

I have a problem with my tv when I display a black screen. It is easy to see it when I put the tv on and set to the input for the cable box(ant.B) and leave the cable box off. The right 1/3 of the screen is much darker than the left 2/3. There is a straight line separating the two different...

    Mits Under 3K Help - 311/411/511?

The 411 has the better lens and quadfield focus. The 311 has neither, and the 511 has the better lens and no quadfield focus but has a built in hd tuner. I bought the 55411 4 weeks ago and love it. It is definitely worth the extra $200 over the 311.

    Mits RPTV-Grey bars and burn-in

Jim, I bought the same tv about three weeks ago. I have grown very used to the stretch mode for 4:3. I really don't even notice anymore. I was watching football today and it looked great! Try to give it a little time, the picture gets much better the more you use the tv, not sure why but it...

    Buying anew Mistsubishi, need help

You can get quadfield focus and a built in tuner, you have to step up to the 611 or 711. The 611 is not available in a 55" though. I don't have cable HD but it should look just as good from what I've heard. The built in tuner only gets off air signals so you would need another for premium...
