If I recall correctly, David Simon elected to have this season shot 4:3 for continuity with the previous seasons, keep the look & feel the same through all five.

Hmm, apparently they will be replaying this before next week's episode on Wednesday night. I think I will wait to hear others' feedback before watching. From the description it sounds like there might be some spoilers, and I try to avoid them, even coming from the producers.

It seems like there is some confusion here about VOD and playback from DVR HD. For example, on my Comcast box the DVR playback can do FF4, but for VOD it only does 2x FF. Also, Chris, without the cable box can you access VOD?

I caught it and liked it quite a bit. It has a very "Big Love" feel to it for me: family struggling to break away from a "unique" family/community and dealing with "normal" people. I'll definitely be tuning in next week.

I agree Chucky, the ending really saved the episode for me. I thought it was a little slower and not quite as funny as the premiere, but the fight and Sarah's lesson learned at the end, if you help people they will just end up trying to stab you to death, redeemed it for me.
