Thanks Neil, Some people maybe, Not enough people to make a commercial release viable - probably. But I am someone who likes not only seeing TV shows that I enjoyed when I was very young but also likes and collects TV programmes from all eras of television history.
Hi Sam. I too would like to see Star Trek Deep Space 9 on Blu-ray. The same with Babylon 5. I thought that I read somewhere it would be too expensive. It is nice to know that that is not the case. I agree about the Fugitive. All The Avengers episodes from 4,5 and 6 have been released on...
My choices would be - 1. Land of the Giants. 2. Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. 3. Planet of the Apes 4. Mission Impossible 5. The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
The Lost in Space and Batman blu-rays were wonderful.
I have been watching the first 11 episodes of Monty Python's Flying Circus which have just been released on Blu-ray in the UK. The restoration has been exceptionally good.
I am delighted that this is getting a release. It is also a very good bargain. How can it be sold so cheaply when something like Miss Brooks is quite expensive?
I am delighted that DVDs of The Ghost and Mrs, Muir are now sitting on my shelves - but still no Nanny and the Professor. I would have thought that with the recent interest in another Nanny that at least one country somewhere would have been interested in this series.
There seem to be a number of DVDs available which feature pretty much the same episodes of the Liberace Show. Is there a good reason why there isn't a complete run of this show available on DVD? The show he made in Britain with ATV appears as a number of clips on a DVD set available in the UK...
I liked Mr. Novak and hoped that season 2 might have been released. in the same way that I hoped that The Defenders seasons 2 - 4 would be released too. It seems that music clearances prove to be a problem when it comes to DVD releases unfortunately. But I would rather some episodes of a...
The amazing thing about this message board is that although that we are all archive TV fans we all have shows that we like and others that we are not so keen on. The Defenders is one of my all time favourite shows and I was really disappointed when only season 1 was released. I remember...
We'll have to disagree Neil as Daktari is one of my all time favourite shows from any decade never mind the 1960s. I have always hoped that Cowboy in Africa might be released one day.
I really hope that we get the second season of Mr. Novak even if it is incomplete.
