The film is currently showing on the Shudder streaming service and looks very good, much better than the transfer used for the old DVD.

Wow! That was certainly unexpected. I can finally retire my DVD. A fun, forgotten thriller. And the story of how Alec Guinness came to be in this film is fascinating.

This. I make sure to backup all my files in case of drive failure. Also, I have gotten rid of a number of discs (that don't have any special features I want to keep) that I have ripped in order to clear up space. Keeping a backup file helps insure I don't lose those films.
