    UltraViolet is shutting down

I've redeemed via Vudu some UV titles recently and they never show up in myuv.com account. So I think they have possibly stopped receiving any additions.

    UltraViolet is shutting down

I have noticed if you redeem a Universal UV movie via Movies Anywhere, it does not link back to the myuv account. It does make it to Fandango, Vudu, Google, Youtube, and Movies Anywhere.

Press Release Announcing the launch of MOVIES ANYWHERE

One further point is that the UV codes included in the Canadian purchased BluRays, are often different codes that what are included out in USA. You often have to use vpn to redeem a code as it knows it is from a different country. Just the very idea of that warrants a platform for Canada. Thank...

Press Release Announcing the launch of MOVIES ANYWHERE

Thanks for clarifying that MA it is not about countries. I am sorry I did not realize this forum/thread was not also for Canadians to find out about issues & problems in Canada, and it appears I have insulted some people here with my Canadians issues which are not wanted here. Does anyone know...

Smart TV Streaming UltraViolet in Canada alternatives?

Thanks for you info. I was able to get a vudu account, and see all my UV titles there, however I am unable to get Vudu on my Canadian Roku Device. I have tried adding via my.roku.com with the US IP but it just seems to know that this device is canadian and does not let me add it. So I have no...

Press Release Announcing the launch of MOVIES ANYWHERE

Not that I have anything working , being in Canada, but I am wondering, I don't have a DMA account. I only have one Disney title and when I went to redeem the code it said I had to do it on Cineplex as they were no longer a part of the UV. So I have one title at Cineplex. Is Cineplex...

Agreed, the title Movies Anywhere , very misleading name. We Canadians thought that meant we could watch it in Canada or anywhere.

Yes we got shafted again. This is ridiculous. Why are they even selling UV codes to Canadians.

Smart TV Streaming UltraViolet in Canada alternatives?

Movies Anywhere news. This is only available in USA. Even if I set my VPN to USA , I have not been able to load Vudu onto my Canadian version Roku (roku premier plus). and I see nothing on roku to add Movies Anywhere. Not sure if anyone can shed light on whether this will work in Canada and...

Smart TV Streaming UltraViolet in Canada alternatives?

I have Nordvpn , however I am unable to redeem any codes which started around 2 months ago at flixster, when they were still there, some strange dual login issue they never fixed, of which now they are gone. I signed up for vudu and linked myuv acct , and my movies appeared, but when I try to...

Variety article: More Than Two Thirds of Consumers Have Never Bought a Digital Video

I entered a lot of codes that were supposed to be expired and they all worked ! Did you try the expired ones ? So far I have had a problem with the code for Erin Brockovich. It simply won't work for an ultraviolet code, except the outside states clearly you get this PLUS itunes. Not just one or...

Ok it is different than Vudu online disc to digital. Cinemanow uses a download program you install on your computer .
