    Your thoughts on Kino-Lorber Blu-rays

Thanks for the info. Looks like a repurchase for me. One of my top 3 mysteries. (“Dial M for Murder” and “Sleuth” are the other two.”

UHD Review A Few Words About A few words about...™ - Torn Curtain -- in 4k UHD

I think this is one of the least interesting Hitchcock films. Both Paul Newman and Julie Andrews are totally miscast and have no onscreen chemistry together. Apparently they had none with their director either. Andrews is hardly the cool and sophisticated blonde with a barely concealed passion...

They’re listing 1.37 to 1 as the aspect ratio for “Omar Khayaam”. How could that be for a VistaVision release from 1957? Here we go again.

    Blu-ray Review A Few Words About A few words about…™ Ivanhoe – in Blu-ray

Ivanhoe is yet another triumph for Warner Archive!! A superlative restoration. Had Elizabeth Taylor ever looked more beautiful. She even outshines Joan Fontaine, herself one of Hollywood’s great beauties. A wonderful and entertaining film and a disc to treasure.
