FINDERS KEEPERS is a wacky comedy, with heart, kind of a distant relative of LARCENY INC., ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT, and other crime movie farces. I saw it on NY TV's THE EARLY SHOW, when WCBS had all those U-I titles back in the '60s. I remember Eve Varden's entrance scene to be pretty hilarious...

You lose top-to-bottom but gain a sliver on the sides with 1.85. Remember, the film was designed and composed for this wider aspect ratio, so that's what the filmmakers wanted you to see. The extraneous material above and below was cut away, and that includes bloopers of telephone poles and such.

Thanks for the tip about the Italian release of KRONOS. Wade Williams' old Image DVD was letterboxed, at least; but the title, a sci-fi favorite, is in dire need of an upgrade, at least domestically.

Not only is the logo incorrect, the music underneath the logo is wrong, as well, getting the movie off to a completely inaccurate start. No way to defend this. Sorry!

I'm curious about what's considered an official Blu-ray release... POSSE FROM HELL, for example, was released on Blu-ray in Germany a few years back, but it's listed here as making its BD debut. Domestically, that's true, but internationally, it isn't.
