Hard to imagine a DLP display that can equal or even come close to the PQ of a good plasma display. At least I haven't seen it. Really no contest between the two, but we are talking some serious $$ differences:)

For my ears (and eyes) it's the Dynaudio Evidence Temptations I've heard them several times with Spectron amps. Twice with Krell & McIntosh Once with Pass Labs All were outrageously great but surprisingly I preferred the Spectron amps. Regards, geo

I would'nt buy a pre/pro right now, to much new stuff about to come out. I'd wait for the next batch that will have DVI/HDMI switching and a high-rez multichannel digital connection of some sort and DPLIIx and maybe room correction. If you need something right now I'd buy a mid-price receiver...
