I used to use nine MA-700's which put 2,000 watts RMS on the floor in total, but several of them developed "popping" on the main power amplifier boards, and to date I've been unable to determine what the problem is. All of them exhibit the exact same symptoms, so I know it's a common failure. I've also run into others on the 'net who have this problem. If and when I figure out what it is so I can fix it, I plan to go back to the seven plus bridged pair configuration. They're great amps -- when they work. :/
